Inpatient Influenza Training Program

Introduction: 

The Flu season runs from October 1st to March 15th each year. Annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all persons who want to reduce the risk of becoming ill with influenza or of transmitting influenza to others. BIDMC’s Influenza Protocol provides screening of patients 50 years or over for vaccine contraindications and immunization of all eligible patients. This training provides information about the proper screening and documentation of the influenza vaccination process.
